BOT Board of Trustees
HOD/HOF Head of department/Head of Faculty
LTR Long term relieving
MU Management unit
RTLB Resource teacher of learning and behaviour
Scale A A full-time teaching position with no additional responsibility
SDA Special duties allowances
SIA Staffing incentive allowance
Y Year (Y4 = Year 4 students)

Useful information

School years
Students start school in New Zealand at 5 years old.
Primary: years 1–6 (ages 5–10)
Intermediate: years 7–8 (ages 10–12)
Secondary: years 9–13 (ages 12–18+)
