We are searching for an experienced education professional who is keen to play a leading role within our organisation and who is passionate about education and life long learning.
You will ensure a “one organisation” approach to the planning and delivery of education services, which will include responsibility for the strategic overview of Education within the Council. This will involve co-ordinating such things as an organisation wide calendar of education programmes contributing to the achievement of the Council’s community outcomes and providing general education advice and support. You will also play a critical future role in developing and then implementing a Life Long Learning Strategy for the Council.
Located within the Marketing Services Team, the role will also help link social marketing campaigns with relevant education services and advise our marketing professionals as part of the social marketing mix.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record in developing education strategy and who is great at working across multiple organisational units to bring a team together to get a job done. It is essential that you are deadline driven, details focused, and possess exceptional communication skills.
