Zayed College for Girls

Y7-13 mathematics teacher/HOD. A Y7–13 small Muslim college requires a passionate mathematics teacher/HOD with skills in numeracy at junior level and senior mathematics statistics and calculus, an understanding of assessment to enhance learning and sound classroom management, able to lead the department and focus on raising achievement. Full-time position available at the start of term 1, 2010. Applicant must be NZ registered and have experience teaching in NZ, strength in multilevel teaching and numeracy coordination. All applicants must have good knowledge of the NZ curriculum and be effective communicators and team members to work in this dynamic, diverse multi cultural environment. A willingness to work within our school's special character shall be a condition of appointment. (Non-Muslim teachers are most welcome to apply).
