Eligibility to Enrol in New Zealand Schools

On 13 June 2010, the Minister of Immigration announced changes to allow students on visitor visas to study in New Zealand schools. These changes take effect on Monday 26 July 2010.

The Ministry of Education has updated Circular 2010/01. This circular helps schools identify which students are eligible to enrol in New Zealand state or state-integrated schools, along with new information and guidelines on hosting and enrolling international visitors.
