About notices

Notices must be relevant to early childhood education managers, teachers, principals or board trustees.

Education sector notices are free and are published at the editor's discretion. Notices from other government agencies or charitable organisations may be published if they are relevant to the audiences.

Other organisations, eg, commercial or private organisations can advertise in the Education Gazette or on the Education Gazette website. Contact Jill Parker ads@edgazette.govt.nz.

Types of notices

These are the types of notices:

Official notices

Essential information from the Ministry of Education, Education Review Office or other education agencies. Principals, teachers or trustees are expected to read these.

Curriculum support

Notices about free or not-for-profit curriculum resources (for example exhibitions), Ministry-funded or not-for-profit learning experiences.

Teacher interest

Awards and scholarships for teachers, meetings of non-curriculum associations, conferences and AGMs.

Student interest

Awards, scholarships, competitions and co-curricular information for students.

General notices

General information relevant to the sector, including Government agency notices of a non-essential nature.

Contracts and tenders

Potential tenderers include educational professionals or institutions. This includes tenders for professional development programmes.

Jubilees and reunions

Events for education organisations, courses and organisations.
