About us
The New Zealand Education Gazette is the official magazine of the Ministry of Education. It is published under the authority of the Minister of Education, always on a Monday, every two (occasionally three) weeks.
The Gazette is published for the Ministry of Education by APN Educational Media Ltd.
The Ministry of Education is the owner of the Education Gazette website. For more information on the Ministry, visit www.minedu.govt.nz
The New Zealand Education Gazette is issued free of charge to all schools and learning institutions including early childhood education centres on a graduated scale. One copy should be kept by all head teachers and principals as a record. Staff are reminded that the Education Gazette is the official medium for the Ministry's notices to the education sector and that they will be expected to have read its contents.
The New Zealand Education Gazette Online offers an internet alternative for readers of the New Zealand Education Gazette. As well as holding the information from current and past issues of the Gazette, including vacancies and notices, the Gazette Online offers a variety of new features and will be continuously updated, providing faster access to new notices, vacancies and articles. Vacancies will be available on the site within two working days of their submission to the site.
